Be mindful of your seventh generation, not just your children and your children’s children. When taking action or by choosing to remain inactive, close consideration should be given to the Great Law of the Iroquois. In everything you do, consider what it will mean to your seventh generation of descendants. Don’t just consider the immediate consequences, or the consequences of tomorrow, but the consequences on your descendants two hundred years from now.
